  On January 29, the Election Assistance Commission sent letters to the Georgia Secretary of State, Brian Kemp, and Kansas Election Director, Bryan Caskey, allowing them to require proof of citizenship with federal postcard voter registrations in an effort to comply with the laws in their respective states.
