NC Voter ID Trial Hears Testimony of State’s Expert

  The state began presenting evidence in the North Carolina voter ID trial on Thursday, January 28.  Expert for the state Stephan Thernstrom testified, in part, “There’s no evidence that blacks would be burdened by North Carolina’s photo ID requirement.”
